The Eagles are the epitome of rock-n-roll straight from SoCal. The band's greatest hits album was the first ever certified platinum album and sold 29 million copies, outdoing even "Thriller" at 27 million. Their hits include, "Best Of My Love", "Hotel California", "One Of These Nights", and "Life In The Fast Lane" to name a few. Their hits influenced not only the 70's generation but also the 80's generation as well.
After the break-up of The Eagles in 1980, Don Henley and Glen Frey both has 80's solo hits. Henley was on the MTV video rotation often with, "Boys Of Summer" which won MTV Video of the Year. His other hits included, "All She Wants To Do Is Dance", and "Love Rules" featured on the "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" soundtrack. Glenn Frey produced solo hits like "The Heat is On" from Bevery Hills Cop and "You Belong To The City" from Miami Vice.
